What this website collects
This website is an information site. It does not ask you to register, does not build an advertising profile of you, and does not sell data. If you contact the hospital by telephone or through an appointment channel, the information you give is handled as part of your medical record rather than as website data.
Clinical information
Any clinical information you share during an assessment — history, medication, records of previous eyelid surgery or filler, and photographs of the eyes — forms part of your medical record at Chongqing West District Hospital and is held under the hospital’s privacy and records policy. It is used for your care and for the review of your own treatment, and for nothing else without your consent.
Photographs
Clinical photographs of the eyes are taken for planning and follow-up, and standardised photography is how lid position is judged objectively rather than from memory. They are not published, used for teaching or used in promotional material without a separate, specific consent that you may refuse without affecting your care. Photographs that include more of the face than the area being treated can be taken so that the eye is not shown in isolation, and you may ask what is being recorded.
Your choices
You may ask what information is held about you, ask for a correction, or withdraw consent for any non-clinical use of your material. Requests are made through the hospital’s patient services, and the contact page explains how to reach them.
